Linguistic Ontology and Dialectic of Language--A Study of Gadamer's Linguistic Philosophy

Linguistic philosophy is the core of Gadamer's Hermeneutics. Language concerns both the direction of ontology and the direction of practical philosophy. On the one hand, linguistic ontology represents the constituting of speculative structure of the experience; on the other hand, it represents the essential relation between the nature of language and things themselves. As the logic of question and answer, the dialectics of language reflects the speculative structure of language, so it may be seen as the way from the practical philosophy to the thing itself.
