| Abstract: | The foreign languages education circle of our country has had some misconceptions about the position English grammar should occupy in our English teaching.Some views on this problem are presented in the hope of clarifying erroneous ideas and correcting two deviations in this connection,and some suggestions on the teaching and learning of English grammar are offered. |
