Skeletons and Values of Zedong Mao's Poems

Zedong Mao's views on modern and ancient poetry have enriched and developed our theories of poetry, whilst exposing the author's spirituality. To develop national tradition, it is thus a worthwhile exercise to identify the framework of Mao's poetry theory, to study the relationship between Mao's poems and his own theory, and to sum up the theory's impacts on Chinese contemporary and traditional poetry, in order to ascertain its internal logic for the sake of posterity.
