To analyse the theoretical background of DuZanqi's study on nationalism of China

Both Du Zanqi's study on the problem of modern nationalism of China and the double pipeline historical pattern which was constructed in the study have deep theoretical background . In modern times, especially in the 20th century , a theoretical study on nationalism was risen in the international academic field . Both American and Chinese academic field paid close attention to the problem of nationalism of China which was one of the focus .The rise of the trend of thought about post-modernism ,post-colonialism offered some thinking resource to Du Zanqi's study directly. And in return, Du Zanqi's study was the reflection and crystal of the review tide which was started from the sixties in 20th century in American and Chinese academic field .
