| 摘 要： | 英汉习语中含有大量的“水”的意象，蕴涵着丰富的联想意义。这些相似或相异的联想意义显示出盎格鲁-撒克逊民族与中华民族文化内涵上的相似与相异，折射出两民族不同的哲学蕴涵。

| Abstract: | Both Chinese and English idioms have a lot of water images containing rich associative meaning,similar or different.The similar and different aspects of associative meaning of water images reflect the philosophical similarities and differences between Chinese and English people. |
