论社会公正与个人自由的内在关联

社会公正与个人自由之间并不是相互排斥的消极关系,而是具有深刻的积极的内在联系。一方面,人本身的自由全面的发展就是一个公正的社会最后的目的,为了社会公正大可不必牺牲个人自由;另一方面,个人自由又必须以社会公正为边界,也就是说个人自由需要社会公正来进行合理的限制和有力的范导,唯其如此,个人自由才不至于变为任性妄为。

On the Inherent Relation between Social Justice and Individual Freedom

At the present age, social justice and individual freedom simultaneously become the necessary pursuit of people's life. However, there is a kind of opinion in the academic circles that the realization of social justice and the gaining of individual freedom is always mutual repellent. In my opinion, social justice and individual freedom is not the negative relation of mutual repellent, but has the profound active relation. On the one hand, the free and complete development of people themselves is the eventual purpose of a just society and it is not necessary to sacrifice individual freedom for social justice. On the other hand, individual freedom must put the social just as the border, that is to say, individual freedom needs to be limited reasonably by the social just. Only does like this, individual freedom cannot be changed into self-willed and rash action.
