五四时期李大钊民族复兴思想探析

五四时期是李大钊民族复兴思想形成的重要阶段。李大钊曾对新生的民国寄予厚望,然而实际情况是战争频仍、民不聊生、列强咄咄逼人。内忧外患之际,同为亚洲“病夫”的土耳其又奇迹般实现复兴,刺激李大钊发出创造“青春中华”、实现“民族复活”的呐喊。李大钊敏锐地意识到十月革命的时代意义,认识到马克思主义的科学性,毅然选择了马克思主义,主张走俄国道路。基于唯物史观,李大钊开始改变仅仅依靠青年、走资产阶级道路实现复兴的主张,转而提出要依靠广大劳工群众,走社会主义道路,从而实现中华民族之复兴的主张。

Analysis on Li Dazhao’s thought of national rejuvenation during May 4th Movement

The May 4th Movement period was an important stage in the formation of Li Dazhao’s thought of national rejuvenation. Li Dazhao once gave great hope to the newly born Republic of China. But the reality was that wars were still frequent, the people were destitute, and the world powers were overbearing to China. On the occasion of domestic and foreign troubles, Turkey, also the “sick man” of Asia, miraculously realized its “renaissance”. That stimulated Li Dazhao to make a cry for the creation of “youth China” and the realization of “national renaissance”. Li Dazhao acutely recognized the significance of the Russian October Revolution and the scientific nature of Marxism. He resolutely chose Marxism and advocated the Russian road. Based on historical materialism, Li Dazhao began to change his views that only youth and bourgeoisie should be relied on to realize the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Instead, he proposed that the broad masses of workers should be relied on and the socialist road should be taken to realize the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
