珠三角发展战略与都市圈整合

珠三角发展战略实施10年之后,都市圈整合结出规划外的硕果:珠三角东岸城市领先发展于西岸城市,以广州、佛山城市群和珠江口特区群为双轴心的“哑铃阵”,取代原先规划的“雁行图”。以科学发展观反省珠三角战略的成就和不足,可以认清当前珠三角都市圈扩充整合的必要性和紧迫性,采取依托东岸核心城市、整合西岸城乡的漫延扩张策略,实现珠三角都市圈的进一步整合与协调发展。

On the Pearl River Delta Strategies and the Integration of Cities in the Region

Since the implementation of the Pearl River Delta Strategies ten years ago, the cities located on the west bank of the river have developed more rapidly than those on the east bank. Such uneven and unexpected development has changed the original blueprint for urbanization in the region. In the light of the new development view, an examination of the strengths and weaknesses of the Pearl River Delta Strategies points to the necessity and urgency for further integration of the cities in the Pearl River Delta. The paper proposes that the area on the west bank should be urbanized with the support of key cities on the east bank with a view to coordinating the development of the region.
