建构的先锋：重审俞平伯新诗理论

与“五四”同时代人的流于“破坏”相比,俞平伯在新诗初创期一开始便表现出较强的独立精神,其新诗理论更多体现出建构性的指向:对初创期新诗音韵的打量;先觉于“白话”与“诗”的断裂;寻求新诗精神和艺术两面的革新,倡导新诗的无为效用;尝试新诗的做法理论等等。这些探索无疑展示了俞平伯作为“先锋诗人”之外的另面侧影。

A Constructive Pioneer: Reviewing Yu Pingbo's Theories on Modern Chinese Poetry

Different from his contemporaries during the May 4th Movement around 1919 who followed the fashion of "destruction",Yu Pingbo manifested a strong tendency to independence from the very beginning when modern Chinese poetry took shape.His theories in this respect were therefore oriented to constructiveness,characterized by his observation of the rhythmic and phonological features of new poetry,his pre-knowledge of the split between the "vernacular language" and the "poetry",his pursuit of innovations in the spirit and art of new poetry,his poetry-for-poetry's-sake advocacy,and his efforts to seek more techniques for composing new poetry.These have undoubtedly shown the other side of Yu as a "pioneering poet".
