| Abstract: | Liang Wengen,chairman of Sany Group announced on January 31st that its subsidiary Sany Heavy Industry,together with Citic PE Advisors jointly acquired 100% shares of Pulzmeister,a German company.The world engineering machinery industry was shocked,and the rivals were caught unprepared.However,unexpected troubles came one after another to Sany.Protests came from both Chinese and German employees of Pulzmeister.And it was severely criticized by Zoonlion,another engineering machinery giant in China.Moreover,there were people believing Sany Heavy Industry buying a "sick elephant".Why the high-key Sany Heavy Industry showed no sign before M&A? Is there a ground for Zoonlion’ s criticism to Sany? Whether Putzmeister a real "sick elephant" ? Facing the first marriage to international corporations,how should we react? |
