埃及考古学的研究与展望

埃及考古学是世界考古学的重要组成部分。它的时间范围包括 :史前考古 ,法老时代考古和希腊、罗马统治埃及时代考古 ;空间范围根据埃及地理蒂貌的不同可划分成 :尼罗河流域考古 ,三角洲地带考古 ,东西沙漠与绿洲考古 ;埃及考古学对于了解、研究古埃及文明具有重大的意义 :埃及是世界上最古老的文明摇篮之一 ,古埃及文明是世界古代历史最悠久的古文明 ,古埃及的遗物、遗迹最丰富。面对新的世纪 ,为了更“深”、更“广”地进行考古发掘与研究 ,必须做到以下几点 :结合经济建设 ,保证考古发掘工作的顺利进行 ;加强国际合作 ;采用新的科学技术与手段 ;处理好考古发掘与文物遗址保护之间的关系。埃及考古学在埃及学中占有重要地位 ,没有埃及考古学所提供的遗址、遗物及其奠定的基础 ,就不可能有今日埃及学的发展。

Egyptian archaeology is an important part of archaeology in the world. Its time sphere includ prehistory period, pharaonic period and Greco-Roman period. Its spatial sphere can be divided into the Nile Valley, the Delta, the eastern and western desert and the oasis, according to Egyptian geography. Egyptian archaeology is vital to understanding and researching ancient civilization of Egypt. Egypt is one of the oldest civilizational cradles of the world. Egyptian culture was one of the longest of ancient world. Traces and remains are the plentiest in ancient Egypt. Facing the new century, we must accomplish something in order to conduct excavation and research in a more profond and extensive degree. Excavation must be carried out successfuly combining with the development of economy. International cooperation should be strengthened. Newly scientific technique and methods are utilized. The relationship between excavation and perservation should be handled well. Egyptian archaeology plays an outstanding role in Egyptology. Without sites, remains and foundation provided by Egyptian archaeology, it is impossible for the progress of Egyptology nowadays.
