| Abstract: | The coming of the age of knowledge economy pushes the universities from the edge to the center of the society, requiring the universities to take on the function of promoting the social sustainable development. This article further explicates the concrete connotation of the sustainable development function of the universities in the age of knowledge economy, which is based on the analyzing the relation between the needs of the age and the development of the social function of the universities. |
