| 摘 要： | 英语中的“white”与汉语中的“白”并非完全对应。通过对“white”一词的追根溯源。分析其现有的常用义项，并对其相应汉译进行归类分析，可以为英语颜色词汇的教学与研究提供帮助．并对基本颜色词汇的翻译提供可资借鉴的范例。
