Different Motivations and Test Achievements

The relationship between motivation and achievement is dealed with. The English majors students who learn Japanese as their second foreign language are the subjects of the paper. The author compares their motivations of learning Japanese with their learning results and analyzes them through considerable materials and examination data in an effort to show that the proper and active motivation is very important to learn Japanese or other languages.
