| 摘 要： | 会话含义是指说话内容和暗含意义之间的关系。格莱斯会话含义理论的提出是用语用学研究会话含义的一个重大突破,而此后利奇、莱文森、斯珀伯和威尔逊等人推出的新格莱斯会话含义理论则可以更有效地解释会话中种种有意识违反准则的语言现象。从新格莱斯会话含义理论出发来深入分析简.奥斯汀小说《劝导》中的人物对话,阐明了新格莱斯会话含义理论对解读文学作品具有的意义和有效性。

| Abstract: | Conversational implicature is the study of ＂what is said＂ and ＂what is meant＂.The classic Gricean conversational implicature is a great breakthrough in pragmatic studies.The Neo-Gricean conversational implicature put forward by Leech、Levinson、Sperber and Wilson presents an effective way in interpreting many phenomena where all sub-maxims are violated consciously.Based on the classic Gricean theory and Neo-Gricean theory,this paper aims to interpret the dialogues in Jane Austen＇s novel Persuasion and illustrate the effectiveness of the pragmatic theory in understanding the novel. |
