Context and Reading Comprehension

Reading comprehension is dependent on context. The process of constructing comprehension is actually the process of contextualization and the process of building up context. The building|up of context in turn, enhances comprehension in further reading. In this paper, context is classified as context of utterance and context of culture, and their influences on reading comprehension are in detail discussed.
