Predicament and Solutions--Vietnamese Economy Heading for 21stCentury

Since Vietnam adopted the open door policy in 1986,its economy has boomed.However,ten year later,because of the reduction of foreign investment and export,which are the two main dynamic forces,the Vietnamese economy began to show a downward trend.In 1997,the breaking up of the Southeast Asian Financial Crisis again pushed Vietnam to a crossroad of the economic development. How to face and properly solve the new problems in economic operations, and in the meantime carry on the reforms has become an important issue in the 21 st century Vietnmese economy.
