论判断文化是否先进的方式——兼论以"社会个体生成论"为判断依据的现实可能性

究竟应当如何判断一种文化的先进与否,这个问题既是文化研究和文化哲学研究的难题,也显然由于其答案对现实的规范引导性而具有非常重要的现实意义。以往人们无法对文化的先进性进行确切的判断,主要是由其引用的传统文化定义和其中所隐含的基本立场和方法论视角决定的,因此,只有彻底突破和扬弃这种定义,寻找真正切合实际的文化定义,才有可能找到解决这个问题的科学方式。而社会个体生成论的文化定义则为解决这个难题提供了现实可能性。

On the judgment on the advanced nature of a culture

How can people tell whether or not a culture is advanced?This is a difficult problem for cultural studies and cultural philosophy studies.And,the key to this problem is of important practical significance due to its conventional guidance to reality.The author argues that the advanced nature of a culture could not be exactly judged owing to the traditional cultural definition quoted and the basic stance and methodology perspective implied in the definition.Therefore,it is possible to find out the scientific way to solve this problem only by thoroughly breaking down and abandoning such a definition and determining the practical cultural definition instead.The definition that the society is generated byindividuals provides the realistic possibility for solution of this difficult problem.
