民间叙事传统的转变——从廪君到向王

廪君叙事与向王叙事代表了不同时代土家族民众的文化认同。明清之际,廪君叙事主角逐渐被向王天子取代,而向王叙事中也糅合了廪君的事迹,并大量出现在民间地方志书中,但志书中概略的记载,远不能反映民间活态的向王传说。这种地方文化精英所做的带有一定目的或由于受到某种局限而做的有“剪裁”的记录及廪君叙事渐被向王叙事取代,都在一定程度上反映了此期土家族地区在纵横两个方向上的文化碰撞。

The Change of Narration

The narration of Linjun and Xiangwang represented the cultural recognition of Tujia in different historical periods.During Ming and Qing dynasties,the hero of Linjun's narration was replaced by Xiangwang's King.However,in Xiangwang's narration there were some stories about Linjun.The stories were widely collected in the local chorography but the records in those chorography were all compendium which could not reflect the living sagas about Xiangwang in local people's mouths.The records made by the local elites with certain purpose and limitation together with the replacement of Linjun's narration by Xiangwang's narration reflected the cultural interaction vertically and horizontally in Tujia area in that period.
