桂中行与《徐州诗徵》考论

徐州知府桂中行治徐12年，于清光绪十三年主持编纂了徐州第一部诗歌总集《徐州诗徵》，凡收录明代隆庆至清光绪300余年间徐州8邑255位诗人的1723首诗作。《徐州诗徵》将“以诗存人”与“以人存诗”相结合，不拘身份广收徐州诗人诗作，按诗人所属邑县和生活年代编排，并专门为所收录诗人撰写“小传”。《徐州诗徵》不仅收录了许多自然灾害、战争祸乱、山水田园、羁旅宦游、交游酬唱、咏史怀古等题材内容的诗歌，而且保存了大量徐州地方历史文献和徐州地方书目文献，对研究徐州古代诗歌乃至社会历史文化具有重要文献价值。

Textual Research of Gui Zhongxing and His X uz hou Poems

In the thirteenth year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty ,Gui Zhongxing ,who had governed Xuzhou as an administrator for twelve years ,edited the first poem volume entitled Xuzhou Poems which collected 1723 poems by 255 poets from 8 counties of Xuzhou during the 300 years from the Ming Dynasty to the Qing dynasty .It was arranged according to the birth places and living time and a biography was also written for each poet .The content of the volume included the various aspects of the society from natural disasters to war plagued ,landscape etc ..It also collected plenty of local historical documents and bibliogra-phy with important documentative values which made great contributions to the study about the poetry and society of the ancient Xuzhou .
