动静观与中国传统体育

中国传统哲学动静观或主动,或主静,或强调动静对立统一,均对中国传统体育产生了深刻的影响。在中国传统哲学不同动静现的影响下,中国传统养生体育形成了动养之法、静养之法和动静结合的养生方法;中国武术则在把握动静范畴的基础上,从辩证的动静关系入手,创立了多种多样的武术理论和武术技能技巧。从总体特征上看,由于中国传统哲学乃至中国传统文化都以主静为主,在其影响下,中国传统体育总体上形成了贵柔主静的特点,并相应地导致了养生体育发展完备而竞技体育发展相对滞后的状况。在当前西方体育文化的冲击下,中国传统体育有必要进行改革以适应新的时代发展。

On the Chinese Movement-and-Motionlessness Concept and the Traditional Chinese Physical Education

The dynamic and static ideas of Chinese traditional philosophy emphasize activity or quietness or the opposing u- nification of activity and quietness,which has made profound influences upon Chinese traditional physical culture.Under the guidance of the dynamic or static idea,Chinese traditional physical culture has formed the approaches of preserving one's health through activity,quietness or the connection of activity and quietness.By mastering the categories of activity and quietness,Chi- nese martial art has created diverse theories and techniques of training from the perspective of dialectic relationship of activity and quietness.Generally speaking,under the influences of Chinese traditional philosophy and culture which prefer quietness, Chinese traditional physical culture has the characteristic of softness and quietness which have been used to preserve one's health rather than to compete.Facing the challenge of western physical culture,Chinese traditional physical training has to be reformed in order to adapt to our new time.
