The Influence of the Idea of Ever Normal Granary on Henry A. Wallace and the Agricultural Adjustment Act in the New Deal

With adequate historical data, this author tries to show that the idea of the Ever Normal Granary in the Agriculture Adjustment Act of the 1930s, which laid the foundation of the current American agricultural legal structure, originated from ancient Chinese economic thought. It played an impertant role in combating the Great Depression. It serves as an example of the application of ancient Chinese economic system in the U. S. It also shows to the world thousands of years the gnat influence of Chinese agricultural civilization on the development of American economic thought.
