| Abstract: | It is difficult,and also important,to identify and classify auxiliary words and auxiliary verbs in Japanese.Identification of them concerns the basic structure of a grammar theory,and it has caused a long controversy among Japanese linguists.By analyzing the previous theories,this paper proposes some new ideas. |
