后殖民主义视角下归译与异译的统一性——由汉语欧化引起的思考

后殖民主义理论视角的关照下,归化翻译和异化翻译均反映了隐藏在译文背后的两种文化之间的权力争斗,即弱势的被殖民文化在面对处于中心地位的西方文化时,由于相对权力地位的落差而寻求恢复自我的话语权,并通过权力运作策略向中心趋近。因此,二者并不是不可调和的矛盾主体,在寻求话语权这一本质上存在着统一性,其间的差异只是复杂和程度的不同而已。

The Agreement of Domestication with Foreignization from the Perspective of Post-Colonialism——Reflection on the Europeanization of Chinese

Considered in the perspective of post-colonialism,domestication and foreignization reflect that two cultures are both struggling for their respective right despite the great difference in translated version produced by the two translation strategies,i.e.faced with the dominant Western culture,the disadvantaged colonized culture seeks to revive its own speech right due to its relatively low status and its incentive to move towards the center by adopting its strategy of regaining their right.Thus,despite the variance in complexity,domestication and foreignization share common grounds.
