中外文化交流应坚守汉语的地位

在中国的国际影响力日益增强的情况下,汉语在中外文化交流中的地位却令人忧虑。原因主要有两方面,一是英语形成了语言霸权,二是我们自己重视不够。然而民族语言是民族文化的载体,是民族凝聚力的基础,我们必须坚守汉语的地位。目前可从汉语国际传播、汉语使用规范、教育选拔制度、汉语信息处理技术等方面入手巩固、加强汉语的国际地位。

Protect the Basic Status of Chinese Language in the Cultural Communication between China and Foreign Countries

With the growing influence of China, Chinese language plays a relatively alarming role in the cultural communication between China and foreign countries, which resulted from two reasons： English has retained hegemony, and Chinese people haven＇ t paid enough attention. While native language is the earner of national culture and the basic of national cohesion, Chinese people must protect Chinese. We could strengthen and enhance the international statue of Chinese language from the following four aspects： international populanzation of Chinese language, usage specification, competitive examination and imformation processing technology.
