浅议传统文化中诚信的四种境界

传统文化揭示了“诚信”作为和谐社会运行的规律性质,论证了“诚信”层次境界是由低到高的组合体。既有应对生存压力的“诚信”境界,也有体验功利损益的“诚信”境界,还有恒常卓著的“诚信”境界,更有自我超越的“诚信”境界。启示着现代诚信建设,对于公民、政府、及其所有经济、教育、文化组织,都有一视同仁的必然要求;昭示着诚信建设,既需要利益的驱动、制度的保证,更取决于自觉、非功利性的高尚追求。

Discussion on the Four States of Honesty and Credibility in Traditional Culture

This article discusses the four states of honesty and credibility in traditional culture. These four states include: (1) the state of "having to do"in the face of survival pressure; (2)the state of "doing for benefits ; (3)the state of "persistence being a merit"; and (4) the state of "transcending self" . These tell us that in today' s honesty and credibility improvement the same demands are presented on citizens, the government and the relevant economic, educational and cultural organizations. Also, these teach us that the motivation of benefits, the guarantee of systems and self - improvement are indeed in improving people' s honesty and credibility.
