母女关系视角下的玛莎·诺曼作品研究

摘    要:母女关系是当代美国女剧作家玛莎·诺曼关注的重要命题。剧作家以隔阂、冲突为点,渴望、认同为线,在作品《出狱》《洗衣店》和《晚安,母亲》中刻画了母女关系从他者之间到主体间性的发展衍进,揭示了母亲主体性、母女对话于形成母女真爱的重要性。剧作家对母女关系动态、多维的呈现丰富了母女关系图景,续写了母女关系谱系,为女性构建主体自我提供了重要的文化途径,是对母女关系社会伦理建构的有益探索。

Abstract:Mother-daughter relationship is a basic thematic concern throughout Martha Norman’s plays of Getting Out, The Laundromat and ’night Mother, in which mother-daughter relationship progresses from an alienated one to the one emphasizing intersubjectivity. The dynamic and multi-dimensional presentation of mother-daughter relationship has enriched mother- daughter narrative, provided an important cultural access to women’s self as subject and contributed to the exploration of mother-daughter ethics.
