隐喻和转喻的认知甄别

摘    要:对于隐喻和转喻这两种语言修饰手段。仅用下定义的方法是不能从根本上解释两者的区别的。作为语言和人们思维自然发展的产物,只有从认知角度才能对隐喻和转喻进行真正的甄别。在从认知域数量和认知加工级别对两者进行区别时。可采用隐性和显性相似性的概念。

Abstract:Metaphor and metonymy are not ways used only to beautify language, the differences of them two can not be interpreted clearly just by defining. They are the end product of the natural development of language and people' s thinking, only the cognitive approach can genuinely and fundamentally distinguish them two, e. g. by using the relevant Gestalt principles. Concerning the differences in the number of the involved cognitive domains and the amount of labor in cognitive processing, two new concepts, covert and overt similarity are suggested.
