| Abstract: | Liu Shaoqi participated in formulating many decisions and policies on China's economy, and actively explored China's path of socialist development. The characteristics of Liu Shaoqi's economic thought include: adhering to the principle of seeking truth from facts, strong awareness of reform and aiming at developing productive forces and bettering people's lives. His economic development thoughts had distinctive characteristics. |
