Analysis and Study of Mood in the Text

Communication;mood as interpersonal meaning plays an important part in the interactive event.Different moods may evoke entirely different effects in communication,so the choice of the mood is fairly critical in communication.This article illustrates the mood in the text from contextual clues,interpersonal relations,coherence and the purpose of communication respectively.Part one mainly analyzes the relationship between the mood and context.Part two expounds how mood reflects interpersonal relations.We have to save others' faces,rather than threatening others' faces.Part three illustrates how mood gets the effects of coherence in the text.Part four expatiates that the choice of mood is related to the purpose of communication.Its aim is to choose the appropriate mood for the successful communication.
