摘    要:工程教育在美国教育体系中占据重要地位。相关组织每年都对工程教育改革提出基本思路,使其适应社会和科技发展的需要。在总目标指导下,工程大学逐步形成了自己的特色。诸如突出学生主体性、大学与企业联姻、教学与科研并重、发挥交叉学科优势、重视人文与社会科学教育等。

Abstract:Engineering education attaches great importance to the education system in the United States. Basic measures are put forward each year by relative organizations concerning how to innovate Engineering education, which can adapt to the developmental requirements of society and technology. Under the directions of general object, the engineer education has gradually formed its characteristics that mainly include: (1) highlights of students' status; (2) combination of universities and enterprises; (3) parallel enhancement of teaching and scientific research; (4) emission of advantages of cross-subjects; (5) emphasis on the education of humanities and social science.
