简论近代“新民思潮”的逻辑发展

近代新民思潮是中国近代启蒙思想运动的一个重要组成部分，也是“五四”前后“改造国民性运动”必然组成部分。它是中国近代先进的知识分子在严重的民族危机的时代背景下，随着近代中国人“向西方寻求救亡道路”的过程中提出并深入发展的。持续紧张的民族危机是这一思潮兴起并不断深入发展的最深层次的原因。但救亡的迫切任务又反过来阻碍这一思潮的深入发展，救亡的要求成为制约着近代新民思潮发展的逻辑线索。因此，其艰难的历程既为我们今天的社会主义精神文明建设留下了必须完成的课题，又为我们今天的国民素质的提高提供了有益的启示。
