Problems of Visiting and Criticizing Classes in Institutions of Higher Learning and Their Countermeasures

Teaching is a central work in institutions of higher learning and the classroom is the key point of the teaching. Organization of various forms of visiting and criticizing classes is an effective way to promote the quality of the classroom teaching. Yet there are some problems existing in carrying out the system of visiting and criticizing classes in colleges and universities because the teachers are lack of awareness of visiting and criticizing classes and the school has no way to examine the quality of teachers' visiting and criticizing classes. In order to solve these problems, we must raise the teachers' awareness of the importance of visiting and criticizing classes and guarantee the quality in system so that the teachers will have got a positive attitude towards the activities of visiting and criticizing classes.
