Analysis of Effect and Construction Technique of Light and Shadow in Modern Landscape Design

Light produces shadow,and shadow reflects light,so the two can act together to reveal more levels and connotations of various elements in landscape design.Focusing on the light effect in the modern landscape design,this article analyses the natural light,artificial light and shadow,the visible physical factors of their joint effect in color,sculpt,material and space,and the invisible mental factors in psychology and context;then it analyzes various construction techniques to realize light effect so as to create a rich expression and artistic context of shadow on landscape space.
