摘    要:20多年前,外语界引入了自主学习的概念。文章介绍了外语自主学习的理论依据和内涵,认为自主学习是一种包括五个相关方面内容的能力。现代教育发展的必然趋势和学习者的个体差异决定了外语自主学习的必要性,重点从六个方面论述了在中国的教育环境下如何转变学生和教师的观念,培养新一代大学生的外语自主学习能力。

Abstract:Learner autonomy was introduced to foreign language teaching two decades ago.This paper has discussed the theoretical base,the basic contents with five-related parts in English autonomous learning and the necessity of cultivating learners' autonomy in the process of foreign language learning,which is decided by the tendency of morden education development and different learners.The paper highlights how to promote LA from six viewpoints in the current Chinese educational environment.
