| 摘 要： | 《西游记》的主题蕴含非常丰富，不过前人的探讨多局限于宗教思想和影射现实这两个框框里。如果换一个角度，从生命的层面来重新审视这部古典名著的话，就会发现，这部小说也是一部倾诉完美生命历程的激昂乐章。唐僧师徒四人的取经旅程，其实就是生命成长的完整历程，是生命不断进取、历经磨炼、臻于完熟的过程。在这里，作者凸显了他所理解的生命或者说他认为完美的生命所应具备的四个要素，那就是自由、勇敢、斗争和执着。从而向我们展示出了作者的生命观，他对生命意义、价值、境界的阐释。这种生命观中融合了儒、释、道三家的因素，但儒家和道家的分量更重一些。
