试论近代中国保险业民族本位观念的确立

The Establishment of Nationalism of Modern Chinese Insurance Industry

The gradual development of Chinese national industry and commerce and the spread of the western insurance theory had prepared an economic and public foundation. The facts that the foreign insurance companies in China monopolized the insurance markets and make enormous profits by using the politic privilege aroused the national consciousness of Chinese people. The rising of the national insurance industry and the progress of insurance legislation showed that the ideas and behaviors of capitalist class selfish departmentalism became rational.
