自主学习意识与文化背景

近年来国外的自主学习与文化差异争论,两者不但无实质冲突。而且可以互相兼容;同时通过问卷调查与分析,证实中国大学生在语言学习中的自主意识并不弱于西方学生,自主意识与文化背景并无直接关联;此次问卷调查对于外语教学有启示。

Autonomy in the Contexts of Eastern CultureQi Hongbo

Focusing on the debates upon the compatibility of Learner Autonomy with the Eastern cultural context, this paper claims that they are likely to be compatible with each other, which is contradictory to many beliefs. The results of investigation through some questionnaires also confirm the fact that Chinese tertiary students share the similar attitudes towards teaching and learning with their western counterparts as far as Autonomous Learning is concerned. Thus the concept of Autonomy does not necessarily correlate with certain context of culture.
