小注释后面的大学案──关于“《小雅》怨诽而不乱”的诠释

北京大学中国文学教研室编的《两汉文学史参考资料》以《毛诗》的“变雅”概念来解说《史记·屈原贾生列传》中的“《小雅》怨诽而不乱”,在这条注释背后隐藏着一个关于作为刺诗的《关雎》、《鹿鸣》为什么居于正风正雅之首的传统大学案。根据司马迁所习的《鲁诗》,“《小雅》怨诽而不乱”不是指《六月》以后的“变雅”,《小雅》的怨诽基调是由其始篇《鹿鸣》奠定的。《两汉文学史参考资料》实际上沿袭了一个传统的误解。

A big academic issue behind the explanatory note "Xiaoya being resentful and reproachful but not rebellious

The reference book entitied Reference Materials for Literary History of the Western and Eastern Han Dynasties published by Peking University adopts the concept of Bianya (dynasty hymns collected in The Book of Songs othe than the dynasty hymns proper therein) cited from Mao Songs (The Book of Songs Noted and Commented by Mao School) to explain the idea of "Xiaoya being resentful and reproachful but not rebellious as found in"Historical Records: Biographies of QU Yuan and JIA Yi by SIMA Qian. It is obuious tha the reference book follows an age-old misunderstanding.As a matter of fact, behind this explanatory note there has long been a big academic issue as to why the satirical poems Osprey and Deer Crying can be arranged at the head of the ballads proper and the dynasty hymns proper.According to Lu Songs(The Book of Songs Noted and Commented by Shandong School)read by SIMA Qian, "Xiaoya being resentful and reproachful but not rebellious does not refer to the chapters called Bianya that come after the chapter June, the resentful and reproachful keynote of Xiaoya is actually founded by its initial chapter Deer Crying.
