Problems in Specialty Construction of Local Colleges and Universities and Their Solutions

In the local college and university talents are produced through its specialty setup and teaching.So specialties are the basis of the local school's development and the rationality of the structure of its specialties directly influences the pattern of its talent production and its school-running quality.Based on an understanding of the role the local college and university plays in the construction of local economy,this paper puts forward some ideas for the development of local colleges,according to which local features of these schools should be highlighted,the course content adjusted,practice teaching increased,and research strengthened.
