| 摘 要： | 西南民族地区是我国地缘战略极为重要的地区,又是我国少数民族的主要聚居区,其中75%以上人口高度集中在农村社区。这种人口分布格局,决定了西南民族地区农村社区的稳定与发展,事关中国整体社会稳定、边疆安全、民族团结、生态资源合理利用及西南民族地区的现代化建设等重大现实问题。发展经济、建立和完善乡镇社区治安综合治理机制、严厉打击各类违法犯罪活动、妥善处理民族宗教问题、加强基层组织建设等,是维护西南民族地区农村社区社会稳定的可行举措。
