羌语支在汉藏语系中的历史地位

羌语支语言仅仅十多种,使用人口也不足百万,在汉藏语系数百种语言的汪洋大海里,好比沧海一粟。但羌语支现存的许多语言事实,却给我们许多启示。根据羌语支语言的差异,在类型上呈链状演变这一历史实事,我们提出了历史类型学问题,它可能是语言发生学分类研究的一个重要的补充。这个命题由汉藏语系音节结构类型、语法结构类型、语序类型和语义分化和改变的历史演变等许多专题研究所组成。由于羌语支语言比较保守,对它的一些语言事实的深入研究也许会对汉藏语系历史比较研究有一些贡献。
