The Construction of the Inherent Visual Language in Painting Art

The inherent visual language in painting art is a unique dimension of human thinking. Throughout the history of ancient and modem paintings, from the east to the west, all those great and classic works of painting are deep and rich in spiritu- al connotations beyond the effect of sense on surface. Based on the analyses of the creative mentality of Cezanne, Gauguin and Van Gogh, three masters of modem painting, this article explores the spirit of art and the construction process of visual language inherent in painting.
