| 摘 要： | 《死者》是詹姆斯·乔伊斯短篇小说集《都柏林人》中的最后一篇.作者通过生者的回忆描写了一系列的死者形象,最后以加布里埃尔妻子年轻时的情人迈克尔作为促成主人公顿悟的关键.文章以迈克尔为中心,解读这一角色对于主人公精神顿悟所起到的作用.

| Abstract: | The Dead is the last story of Dubliners, which is written by James Joyce. Through the memories of living characters, this short novel describes a series of dead images. Finally, the former lover of Gabriel＇ s wife plays the most important role to lead to the epiphany for Gabriel, who is the hero of this story. The paper centers on Michael and illuminates his role in Gabriel＇ s epiphany. |
