英语口译中话题熟悉程度的心理认知机制

摘    要:口译是多种因素相互作用的复杂的语言表述过程。通过对影响口译考试的各种因素的分析和对学生的调查,发现学生对口译语篇的话题熟悉程度是学生在两篇内容不同的英语语篇的口译成绩上存在较大差异的主要原因。话题熟悉程度反映了学生在内容图式上的差异,因此,通过研究学生的口译考试录音并结合图式理论,探讨话题熟悉程度在口译理解、记忆和表达环节以及译员精力分配中的心理认知机制。

Abstract:Interpretation is a complicated oral and verbal reproduction influenced by many factors. The analysis on different factors influencing an interpretation test and the follow-up students' survey reveal that topic familiarity is the reason that accounts for students' different interpreting quality when interpreting two topicvaried English passages into Chinese. Topic familiarity reflects students' difference in content schema. Therefore, based on schema theory and students' recorded interpretation, the paper attempts to explore the psycholinguistic and cognitive mechanisms of topic familiarity in interpreters' comprehension, memory, production and efforts coordination.
