谢国桢文献学成就三论

谢国桢把目录学、版本学与学术发展、治史实践联系起来考察,见解独到。他采用辑录体体例,对明清野史笔记资料做了较为全面的搜集整理,编纂了《增订晚明史籍考》等多部目录学著作,引导和帮助了众多研究明末清初史的学者;他把版本学提高到科学的高度来认识,在版本鉴定方面有一套行之有效的方法;他寓文献学思想于文献研究的实践当中,强调研究文献学要实事求是,努力扩大历史文献研究的范围,重视古籍的现实实用性,主张加强对古代文献的保存和利用。

On Three Chief Achievements of XIE Guo-zhen on the Document Study

XIE Guo-zhen conducted his research on the document study combined with the study of catalogue, the study of edition and the academic progress and practice of history study, and proposed some distinctive ideas. He made a relatively comprehensive collection of anecdotes and private essays of Ming and Qing Dynasty. He advanced the study of edition to a higher and more scientific degree and worked out a set of effective ways to distinguish different editions. He incorporated the idea of the document study with the research practice and emphasized seeking truth from facts on the study and expanding the study sphere. In addition, he attached great importance to preserving and utilizing the ancient documents. All the above have made XIE Guo-zhen as an important figure in the circle of the study of documents.
