News Media and Democratic Politics of Western Countries: a Perspective from "People First" Concept

In western countries,the relationship between media and politics is vague.News media has become the fourth power that balances with legislation,judicature and administration.Under the global background of fast-developing media and drastic changing international political environment,it is of great practical significance to study the interactive relationship between the news media and democratic politics of western countries.A model about how news media impacts and affects politics is proposed.Furthermore,some weak joints for western news media to interact with politics are discussed.
