| 摘 要： | 《他们眼望上苍》采用了泛灵论思想,在该作品中,自然被赋予神灵般的身份,人物在与自然交流的过程中获得生命的真正意义。作品所反映的泛灵论思想体现了美国黑人文学传统,对于当今社会人类远离工业社会对人类文明的破坏,重建人与自然、人与人的和谐关系具有重要意义。

| Abstract: | This thesis explores the animism in Their Eyes Were Watching God.In the novel the natural elements are worshiped as deities and Janie,the main character in the novel,acquires the essence of life by communicating with nature.The animism reflected in the novel embodies the literary tradition of Afro-American literature and has great significance for people to reduce the negative impact of industrial society on human civilization and to rebuild a harmonious relationship between people and to live in harmony with nature. |
