浅论纵横家

纵横家在中国历史上是一个特殊的角色。自刘向、刘歆父子及班固以后,纵横家和儒、道、墨、法等诸家并举,长期沿用不衰。事实上,与其他诸家相较,纵横家没有系统稳定的学术的、伦理的、政治的思想,同类人群中也没有师承关系,它是不能和其他诸家相提并论的,它应运而生、相时而动、趋利避害、长于权谋。他们是特殊时代的产物,只要条件成熟,他们就会活动在政治舞台上。他们具有巨大的适应性、灵活性,是一个最具活力的实践群体。
