过去学术界将北宋诗文改革的对象一般视为形式主义文学 ,这是不正确且不客观的。宋初文学自有其不可抹煞的审美价值。然而并不能因此否定诗文革新运动本身的意义 ,这场运动的真正价值在于确立一种支撑士大夫生存信念的文学精神 ,该精神在一定程度上属于社会危机的产物 ,带有明确的功利倾向 ,但本质却是指向人的内心的 ,是一种审美化的生存观念的体现。宋代文学的主流正是这种精神的派生物

The Establishment of Literary Spirit of the Song Dynasty

In the past ,the scholars think generally that the object opposed by the literary innovation of the Song Dynasty is formalistic literature. It is erroneous and unrealistic. The literature of Song's early stage has its aesthetical value. The literary innovation's real value is the estabishment of literary spirit supporting the intellectuals' faith. The main stream of Song's literature is derived from the literary spirit.
